Strengthening Egyptian-Emirati relations in aviation

Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, received Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, the new Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, as part of supporting bilateral cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries in the field of civil aviation.


At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Civil Aviation welcomed the UAE Ambassador, wishing him success in his duties, stressing the strength of the fraternal and historical relations that bind the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, especially in light of the continuous development they are witnessing in various fields.


The meeting addressed areas of joint cooperation, particularly ways to revitalize air traffic, training and capacity building, and the exchange of technical and operational expertise, in order to support mutual interests and achieve sustainable development goals for the benefit of both countries.


Dr. Sameh El-Hefny explained that the Ministry of Civil Aviation is continuing its efforts to develop the civil aviation system, in line with the state’s directions towards supporting the goals of comprehensive development and enhancing the efficiency of the level of services.


For his part, Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi expressed his pride in representing the United Arab Emirates in the Arab Republic of Egypt, praising the close relations that unite the two brotherly peoples. 


Al-Zaabi stressed that Egypt represents a distinguished investment and tourism destination due to its unique assets, distinctive attractions, and promising opportunities for growth and expansion.
